Case Studies

Eradicating Human Intervention in Production Line

In one of the leading soap manufacturing units of India, the production lead wanted to eradicate human intervention in removing defective batches of soap from a running conveyor of production line. Using cameras at the junctures of soap stamping, images of perfect batches of soap were collected and fed to a software. Machine Learning algorithm started learning the attributes of correct and incorrect soaps. The System started identifying on its own the defective batches as soon as they were stamped in the production line. Within a few milliseconds it sends a signal to the PLC that removes the defective batches from the conveyor.

Real Time Data on Storage Tank Chemical Inventory

In a Chemical Factory, the production Manager had a real head ache regarding the stock of different chemicals in different overhead tanks. Often due to improper monitoring, production got hampered. We implemented IOT application and assisted the production team to have live data about the stock of chemicals in the overhead tanks. It is now quite a simple process to order their purchase and maintain stock so that production is not hampered.

Live Data of Temperature in different zones of a COLD STORAGE

A big Cold storage suffered decomposition of material at different zone due to improper cooling. The Manager found it quite impossible to track when and which cooler is malfunctioning. Using IOT enabled temperature sensors we successfully informed the temperatures of different zones so that the manager can take adequate action to replace or repair the cooler and prevent decomposition of stock.
